Hunt is on for man who stole sling bag at surau


Wanted man: The suspect, in white T-shirt and red pants, pretending to pray before grabbing another man’s sling bag and leaving the surau immediately.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a suspected thief who ran off with the sling bag of a lorry driver while he was praying at a surau here.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Noor Azmi Yusoff said the 31-year-old victim had just finished delivering goods in Taman Dagang and stopped at the Dagang Avenue Ampang Surau to perform Maghrib prayers.
