XPDC vocalist Mohd Ali Ismail is shy at being called “ustaz” although he has started preaching during performances, reported Berita Harian.
Ali said the title was “too big for him to shoulder”, but he would do his best to promote positive elements in line with religious teachings.
Ali said he and his fellow band members were keen on promoting religious messages when meeting fans.
“In our next performance, which will include popular songs from old and new albums, we will also focus on divinity. We will sing songs that carry positive messages, ” he said.
XPDC would be participating in the Rockaway 2020 concert at Bukit Jalil Stadium in March next year, together with other rock bands.
Among others participating are Datuk M. Nasir, Hujan, Kugiran Masdo, Project E.A.R and Toko Kilat.
