MARRIED singer Andy Hui and actress Jacqueline Wong, who caused a scandal after they were caught kissing in the back of a taxi, were the top two most-searched people on Google in Hong Kong in 2019, reported China Press.

Video footage of their indiscretion went viral online and shook the territory, prompting both of them to make public apologies and withdraw from their work.

Joining Hui and Wong on the list of most-searched people were their partners, singer Sammi Cheng and actor Kenneth Ma; the latter two were ranked fourth and fifth respectively.

Following the controversy, 30-year-old Wong has been on a hiatus from acting after fleeing to the United States to avoid media attention.

Cheng had earlier urged fans to respect her decision to forgive her spouse. The two appeared to be on good terms as they were photographed going on holiday in Britain.
