KUALA LUMPUR: The special committee to study alternative forms of punishment to the mandatory death penalty needs more time to come up with recommendations, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong.
He said the committee on the abolishment of the mandatory death penalty was supposed to have completed its study this month.
