IPOH (Bernama): Perak state secretary Datuk Zainal Azman Abu Seman has confirmed that he had been transferred to the Public Service Department (PSD) in Putrajaya from Sunday (Dec 1).
When contacted by Bernama on Monday (Dec 2), he said he received a letter over his transfer to the PSD on Friday (Nov 29).
"The content of the letter is true. I will begin my duty following what is directed in the letter," he said without stating in detail the reason for the transfer.
Zainal Azman had held the post of Perak state secretary since Oct 18 last year to replace Datuk Mohd Ghazali Jalal, who retired.
Prior to this, he had been appointed National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) (operations implementation sector) deputy director-general and had served in the public service for 28 years.
On Nov 10, Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah conferred the Darjah Dato Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM) - which carries the title "Datuk" - to Zainal Azman in conjunction with his 63rd birthday at Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar. - Bernama
