New Cuti-Cuti Malaysia takes flight

To know Malaysia is to see Malaysia: MHholidays offers attractive packages through the new Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines are vigorously promoting Cuti-Cuti Malaysia packages to boost domestic tourism.

The promotion includes discounts of up to 70% on selected hotels and flights offered by MAS through its MHholidays for packages booked from December to March next year.

Tourism Malaysia director-general Datuk Musa Yusof said MAS continued to show its dedication and commitment in promoting Cuti-Cuti Malaysia packages.

He said domestic tourism had always served as the backbone of the Malaysian tourism industry and hoped revenue from the sector would increase to RM76.9bil next year from this year’s RM68.5bil.

“The Cuti-Cuti Malaysia brand was developed to inculcate the value of holiday culture among Malaysians and transform the way domestic holidays are viewed.

“I hope Malaysians will take advantage of this special offer by MHholidays to explore and experience the country’s nature, arts and culture,” he said after launching the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign here yesterday.

MAS group chief operations officer Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi said the travel packages offered included discounted flight fares and accommodation fee at more than 500 hotels.

“We have extended the offer to March 31 to include the Chinese New Year celebration and March school break,” he said.
