SIBU: The Sibu Royal Customs Department seized 1,200 sacks of smuggled Thai white rice worth RM258,000, including import duties, at Jalan Upper Lanang.
State director, Datuk Sharifah Halimah Yuanku Taha said the seizure was made at about 10am on Wednesday (Nov 27) following a tip-off from the public.
