PETALING JAYA: Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has advised its unit holders to update their personal particulars at its branches or via agents.
ASNB said this should be done before any over-the-counter transaction is made.
“Unit holders who already have a myASNB portal account will also be prompted to update their personal details upon logging into the portal, ” ASNB said in a statement.
ASNB is a wholly-owned unit trust management company of Permodalan Nasional Bhd.
It said the requirement was aimed at ensuring that ASNB had a complete and up-to-date database of its unit holders, which was in line with industry regulatory requirements for personal details to be kept up-to-date to protect personal information and transaction information.
ASNB chief executive officer and executive director Mohammad Hussin said the updated database of unit holders would enable ASNB to provide better and value-added services to unit holders.
“Unit holders who have updated their personal details will also be able to utilise the free-of-charge online facilities that we offer through the myASNB portal (www.myasnb.com.my).
