MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong wants an assurance from the Finance Ministry that taxpayers who took up the offer under its Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (PKPS) will not be investigated by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) .
“Can the ministry give its commitment after taxpayers make their payment and receive confirmation letter from IRB that they will not be audited and reinvestigated again?” asked the Ayer Hitam MP in the Parliament’s Special Chambers.
