Immigration detains 32 foreigners during raid at entertainment outlet in Kedah


LANGKAWI: A total of 32 foreign women believed to be working as guest relations officers (GROs) were detained by the Kedah Immigration Department at an entertainment outlet in Kuah on Thursday (Nov 21).

According to state Immigration director Zuhair Jamaludin, the three-hour operation was conducted after they received information from the public and intelligence gathered by officers about the activities and the misuse of social visit passes.
