PETALING JAYA: Sarawak PKR leaders, who travelled to Kuala Lumpur to voice their frustrations with PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic), met with PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali in Putrajaya.

The 32 Sarawak PKR leaders led by Sarawak state chief Baru Bian, met with Azmin in a closed-door meeting at the Economic Affairs Ministry.

Leaked photos showed Azmin briefing and being briefed by the state PKR leaders.

Earlier, the 32 - including four MPs and 18 division chiefs - had held a press conference in support of Baru and topmost state leaders cancelling the Sarawak state convention scheduled on Nov 23.

They had called off the state convention over the rescinded invitation to Azmin to officiate the PKR youth national convention on Dec 6.

They had held the press conference on Nov 20 calling on Anwar to step up and put the party back in order.
