PONTIAN: A former Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) student recalled his years of hardship, surviving from hand to mouth, before graduating.
Chan Meng Fai, from Gelang Patah, Johor, said without TAR UC, he would not have escaped the vicious cycle of poverty and start his own family.
