KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 3,211 loan sharks or ah long have been detained involving some RM142mil worth of loans, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Zakaria Ahmad.
The Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID) director said those detained were responsible for 5,655 cases recorded between 2010 and Oct 30 this year.
