KUCHING: A motion to reiterate the Sarawak Legislative Assembly's protest against the relocation of the Sabah and Sarawak High Court registry from Kuching to Kota Kinabalu has been rejected on technical grounds.

Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How requested leave on Wednesday (Nov 13) to move the motion seeking a resolution that the House reaffirm its decision against the relocation to "protect the sanctity" of the Federal Constitution and safeguard Sarawak's "inviolable constitutional rights".
