PONTIAN: Pakatan Harapan will use its top guns to woo voters in the Tanjung Piai by-election here.

PKR information chief Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin said Pakatan would intensify its campaign here starting next week with top leaders, like Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, coming down to stump for votes.

"Anwar will be coming down on Monday (Nov 11) and will be delivering about four ceramah in areas around Tanjung Piai.

"Other Pakatan leaders, including Tun Dr Mahathir, will be coming down after that to help boost the campaign here," he said to the press when met at the Teluk Kerang district polling centre on Friday (Nov 8).

He added that Pakatan would use this weekend, the last weekend before polling day, to reach out to as many outstation voters as possible.

Meanwhile, Pakatan candidate Karmaine Sardini (pic) said that he would add a more personal touch in the last week of campaigning.

"I have visited all 27 polling districts here, and after this, we will go from house to house to meet with voters.

"Before this, we met voters in public areas, but after this, we will take a more personal approach," he said.
