GEORGE TOWN: The body of 31-year-old Seah Chee Chang who may have jumped or fallen off the Penang Bridge early Saturday (Nov 2) morning was found at 11.32am Monday (Nov 4).
The body was found during search-and-rescue operations by the Fire and Rescue Department together with the Marine Police and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM).
Earlier, it was reported that Seah’s motorcycle and personal belongings were found on the bridge at around 11.15pm on Saturday (Nov 9).
The search-and-rescue teams then combed the area to look for Seah, who is feared to have fallen off the bridge at KM7.4 from the island towards the mainland.
