Sweet bust: Batu Pahat warehouse raid finds 1,000 tonnes of sugar above allowed limit

JOHOR BARU: A sugar warehouse in Batu Pahat's Sri Gading Industrial Area was raided by the Johor Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) last Thursday (Oct 31) for storing sugar exceeding the allowed limit.

The investigation revealed that the warehouse was storing an excess of 1,000 metric tonnes of sugar worth RM2.45mil.
