Search-and-rescue teams looking for man feared fallen off Penang Bridge

GEORGE TOWN: The Fire and Rescue Department, together with the Marine Police and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM), are looking for a 31-year-old man who may have jumped or fallen off Penang Bridge early Saturday (Nov 2) morning.

The search-and-rescue teams are now combing the area to look for Seah Chee Chang, who is feared to have fallen off the bridge at KM7.4 from the island towards the mainland.

Seah’s motorcycle and personal belongings were found on the bridge at around 11.15pm Saturday.

At press time, the search-and-rescue operation was still ongoing.
