According to the media report, TH had disposed equities worth RM2.6bil over the last three months as it continues to trim its exposure to the volatile equity market.
It also reported that since the end of June, TH had disposed of its entire shareholding in nine listed companies including FGV Holdings Bhd, TNB and Yinson Holdings Bhd.
Dr Wee who is Ayer Hitam MP said the government should continue to find ways to maximise the dividend given to depositors.
“Or else, the public, especially TH depositors will feel upset with its pathetic hibah (dividend),” he said.
