KUALA KANGSAR: Two people were killed when a concrete pillar fell off a trailer and hit the car they were travelling in at KM256 of the North South Expressway, near here.
Kuala Kangsar OCPD Asst Comm Razali Ibrahim said the driver of the car, Leong Woei Ser, 34, from Haluan Tasek Timur 10, Bercham, Ipoh and a passenger Cheah Kim Seng, 60, from Hala Perpaduan Taman Saga, Ulu Kinta died on the spot during the 9.30pm incident Wednesday (Oct 30).
