Among the issues yet to be resolved were the delays in opening three completed Tamil primary schools. They are SJK(T) Tun Dr Ismail in Simpang Renggam, SJK(T) Bandar Sri Alam in Johor Baru and SJK(T) Ladang Niyor in Kluang.
