SINGER Wani Syaz, whose music video Pendusta Video chalked up over 24 million views on YouTube, is also busy helping her family’s restaurant business.
Wani lives with her family in Batu Pahat, Johor, but she does not mind travelling to Kuala Lumpur for singing engagements, Harian Metro reported.
She said her family used to run a small food stall.
“But the restaurant is better managed now. Furthermore, I am interested in running a business apart from singing, ” said Wani, 22.
Wani said the restaurant, named Beezer Box, serves Western food as well as nasi ayam penyet.
“It is fun doing business although the risk is big, ” she added.
> Villagers in Kampung Tepoh in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, are apparently “friendly” with a crocodile that appeared in a mining pool.
Given the name Mamat by the villagers, the one-metre reptile first made its appearance in 2016, Sinar Harian reported.
Its non-aggressive nature endeared itself to the villagers, who would also feed the estuarine crocodile from time to time.
Mamat vanished in September 2017 but had apparently appeared again, with villagers having seen a crocodile near the mining area almost every day.
It has now grown to five metres.
Villager Abdul Rahman Harun, 64, said the reptile would appear whenever it was hungry.
“I would usually feed it chicken heads I buy myself, ” he said.
