KUALA LUMPUR: Everyone, including the public, media, MPs, and even Datuk A. Kadir Jasin, is welcome to criticise the Pakatan Harapan government if it is not doing something right, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“He (Kadir) can bash the government. Even our people (MPs) in Parliament can bash the government.
“If we are not doing something right, then bash-lah. Aside from the media, social media too bash the government.
“Who else want to bash? The Opposition? The Opposition doesn’t do anything other than bashing, ” he told reporters during a press conference in Parliament on Tuesday (Oct 22).
He was responding to a vague Facebook posting by Kadir on Monday (Oct 21).
“Seventeen months have passed. The time to advise has ended. Just ‘bash’ (the government) now, ” the Prime Minister's special adviser on media and communication posted, without elaborating further.
