Chinese outside China amass global assets of US$2 trillion, WCEC told

The Malaysian delegation at the 15th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention in London on Tuesday (Oct 22).

LONDON: Chinese outside China have amassed assets totalling US$2 trillion (RM8.4 trillion) globally, the 15th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) was told at its official opening on Tuesday (Oct 22).

Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom Liu Xiaoming attributed the accumulation of vast Chinese wealth to the entrepreneurship, hard work and the risk-taking ability of "overseas Chinese".
