SHAH ALAM: Concrete evidence on the plot to oust DAP and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) from the ruling coalition will be revealed at the right time, says PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
“When the time comes we will disclose whatever we have," he said, when asked if PKR had any concrete evidence of the plot.
Saifuddin also said former Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is fully aware of what he started.
“Hishammuddin knows what he has done. And I’ll end it at that," said Saifuddin.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister recently alleged that PKR had circumstantial evidence indicating there were attempts to sabotage the ruling coalition and oust both DAP and Amanah from the government.
Fingers were pointed at Hishamuddin as the plot's main conspirator.
Hishammuddin has since denied the accusation, and fired back saying that Pakatan should stop the blame game and sort out its internal problems.
He added that talk of moves to form a new government only made the ruling coalition come across as being weak.
Saifuddin also strongly denied that there were issues between parties in Pakatan Harapan.
"There is no problem at all. Pakatan Harapan is intact and the government is functioning," Saifuddin told a press conference after launching a food bank programme at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) on Monday (Oct 21).
Speaking on another matter, Saifuddin said a law has been tabled and passed in Parliament to protect donors who are contributing to the Food Bank Malaysia programme.
He said companies with products which have a global branding are very cautious about donating surplus food as they were concerned of being cornered with civil liabilities in the event something such as food poisoning happens.
“This will protect the donors and there are already laws under the Ministry of Health to protect the recipients, ’’ said Saifuddin.
He said it was a good move, as countries with such laws saw an increase in donors contributing towards food raising activities.
