Foreign GROs held in police raid


KUALA LUMPUR: City police raided three entertainment outlets in Jalan Kuchai Lama here early yesterday and held 64 foreign guest relation officers (GROs).

Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Rusdi Mohd Isa said they apprehended 60 Vietnamese, an Indonesian and four Thais, including two transgenders.

He said the three outlets had no valid operating licence and the GROs will be handed to the Immigration Department. — Bernama
