Five to file habeas corpus application

KUALA LUMPUR: Habeas corpus applications will be filed to seek the release of five men detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act over their alleged links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

Lawyer Ramkarpal Singh said the applications would be filed at the Kuala Lumpur Court today.
