SCIENCE teacher Clarakartini A. Hamid was honoured as Kedah’s Ambassador of Unity 2019 for showering her former student, loner A. Arvin, with motherly love, reported Harian Metro.
But sadly, 21-year-old Arvin – who fondly called Clarakartini his “mummy” – was not able to attend the ceremony held in her honour because he was recuperating in hospital after his left leg was amputated following a hit-and-run accident in Penang on Oct 11.
