KUALA LUMPUR: There are rumours that Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is set to take over as Barisan Nasional secretary-general but the coalition has yet to meet to discuss this.
“Is there (a meeting)? We have yet to hold a Barisan Supreme Council meeting. God willing, it will be discussed when the time comes, ” Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters at the Parliament lobby yesterday.
