Witness: Isa insisted board approval was unnecessary


KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Isa Samad had told Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd’s (FIC) board of directors that there was no need to seek the approval of Felda’s board of directors for FIC’s acquisition of a RM160mil hotel in Kuching, the High Court heard.

This was because there were individuals, including Isa himself, who was sitting on both FIC and Felda’s boards of directors, the court heard yesterday.
