SEREMBAN: The state government is grateful to the federal authorities over the plan to open the peninsula’s second scheduled waste treatment plant in a neighbouring state as this will reduce dependency on the only such facility in Bukit Nanas near here.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said it was timely as the Kualiti Alam plant here currently had to take in and treat all scheduled waste generated by industries and other related sectors in the peninsula.
