PETALING JAYA: Attorney General Tan Sri Tommy Thomas should explain why he ordered a sexual abuse case in Perak to be dropped months after the Magistrate's Court there recognised that the incident took place, says MCA central committee member Chan Quin Er.
She said Thomas' intervention had impacted the credibility and independence of the Attorney General and the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC), and brought the AGC into disrepute.
