Indian citizen stranded here since 2014 wants to go home

PETALING JAYA: Indian national C. Chitiravelu has been left stranded in Malaysia for almost five years after he was cheated in a job scam that promised him a Malaysian work permit.

Malaysian Global Rescue Humanity president T. Kamalanathan said Chitiravelu, 72, came to Malaysia in Nov 8, 2014, to find work after paying RM3,300 to an illegal agent who helped him obtain a travel visa.
