Budget 2020: Five million M40 drivers to benefit from targeted fuel subsidy

KUALA LUMPUR: Some five million vehicle users in the middle-income group (M40) are set to benefit from the targeted fuel subsidy programme, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the figures were expanded from the initial 2.9 million eligible Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) recipients in the bottom 40 (B40) group.
