SEREMBAN: The government's proposal to increase next year's budget by RM19.5bil to RM297bil is worrying if the prices of commodities such as crude oil and palm oil remains depressed, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
The Umno deputy president said the government was making the same mistake it did when tabling last year's budget when it forecast the average price of crude oil at US$70(RM293.30) a barrel.
