OPPOSITION MPs tried to scuttle the government’s second attempt to repeal the Anti-Fake News Act, demanding for it to be forwarded to a Parliamentary select committee.
The Bill to repeal the Act was being re-tabled following a one-year cooling off period after it was rejected by the Senate last year.
