JOHOR BARU: The Johor Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) has rescued 553 protected tortoises and turtles during two separate raids in Batu Pahat.
Its director Salman Saaban said following a public tip-off, the department conducted the raids at Taman Seri Berkat and Taman Puteri at around 4pm on Monday (Sept 30).
