GOPENG: Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye has maintained that clinics offering medical examination for e-hailing drivers must do proper checks regardless of the set fees.This comes amid a wrangle between the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and the Malaysia E-Hailing Drivers Association (Mehda) over the fees.
Dr Lee said it was important that doctors examined the drivers, checked their medical history for fits and illnesses and ensured they were fit to drive.
