All set for Nine Emperor Gods’ fest

GEORGE TOWN: Like in the past 31 years, Taoist residents in Lip Sin Garden in Sungai Dua here began preparations to celebrate the Nine Emperor Gods Festival two weeks before.

This year, their handmade wooden boat – measuring 4.57m long and 1.37m wide – will be a little bigger than last year’s vessel.
