Wanted men: The three escaped Vietnamese detainees
KOTA KINABALU: Three Vietnamese men who were arrested for intruding into Sabah waters have escaped from police detention.
The men, identified as Vo Minh Naiiy, 43, Nguygu Vain Phong, 47, and Vo Minh Taanh, 32, escaped on Sept 23, a day after they were detained in waters off Beluran in Sabah’s east coast.
