KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Water Department officials lodged a police report after hackers threatened to wipe out the utility company’s data and shut down its website, if water services were not improved.
The department’s director Amarjit Singh said the group, calling themselves “Silence Hacker Group”, sent the threat via email to the department's corporate headquarters here, as well as to their district offices in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau on Saturday (Sept 21).
