KOTA KINABALU: Security forces must take steps to strengthen sea borders in Sabah’s eastern most Tambisan waters, the closest point with the southern Philippines’ Tawi Tawi chain of islands, says Sabah's Chief Minister.
Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said on Tuesday (Sept 24) that there was a need to strengthen security along the sea borders by security forces as Monday’s (Sept 23) kidnapping of three fishing trawler crew took place in areas close to previous incidents.
