GEORGE TOWN: A man was injured after a plastic barrel containing nitric acid leaked and spilled in a storeroom of a factory on Tuesday (Sept 24).
According to the state's Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson, in the 10.44am incident, the victim, 57, was working in the storeroom and was exposed to the chemical after the plastic barrel leaked and spilled the hazardous material.
