GEORGE TOWN: Schools in Penang will be closed on Thursday (Sept 19) and Friday (Sept 20) due to the worsening haze.

Penang welfare and caring society committee chairman Phee Boon Poh confirmed that all schools on the island, as well as on the mainland, will be closed tomorrow and Friday.
