KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Parks has begun evaluating the extent of damage and the cost to restore corals destroyed by a stranded cargo vessel near Kalampunian Island off Sabah’s northern Kudat waters.
Sabah Parks director Dr Jamili Nais said the cargo vessel involved might also be held responsible for the damage caused if the company was found to have breached Sabah Parks law.
