RAWANG: The second phase of the 110km Klang Valley Double Track (KVDT) project will employ inmates as part of the government’s pioneering effort to reform prisons across the country, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
About 50 male prisoners would be hired and paid the minimum wage by project developer Dhaya Maju LTAT Sdn Bhd, said Loke, adding that more inmates might even be hired in the future.
