Pulau Gaya picked for pilot project

At 38, Parti Warisan Sabah's Junz Wong is one of the two youngest full Ministers in the newly formed Sabah state Cabinet. Wong is pictured here at the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry office which he now helms.

KOTA KINABALU: More rural communities in Sabah will soon be supplied with treated water if a pilot project involving a prepaid system on Pulau Gaya proves to be successful.

The RM5.3mil pilot project involves two villages on Pulau Gaya – about 10 minutes by boat from here, with plans to install the system at 510 houses on stilts at Kampung Kesuapan and Kampung Pulau Gaya within the next five months.
