PUTRAJAYA: A former managing director of a Felcra subsidiary will be taken to court to face charges of power abuse.
Rohaizat Ahmad, who last held the position of the managing director of Felcra Training and Consultancy Sdn Bhd, is expected to be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions court on Wednesday (Sept 4).
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said Rohaizat would be facing multiple charges under Section 23 of the MACC Act.
"He has been asked to attend court at 8.30am tomorrow. Details of the charges will be made known when they are read out in court," she said on Tuesday (Sept 3).
Rohaizat was arrested by the MACC in September last year.
He is said to have allegedly misappropriated funds as well as used his position to distribute training contracts worth RM4mil.
