BUTTERWORTH: Eighteen illegal migrants were nabbed by the Immigration Department at Penang Sentral here, reported Bernama.
State Immigration Department enforcement chief Kholijah Mohamad said the suspects aged between 20 and 45 comprised 15 men (Bangladeshi – six; Myanmar - four; Indonesian – four; Cambodian – one) and three Indonesian women.
“The operation was conducted following a public tip-off, ” she said, adding that the 18 did not have any travel documents or had overstayed or misused their social visit passes.
