M’sians raise Jalur Gemilang on highest Indonesian volcano

PETALING JAYA: Despite the active volcano erupting less than a month ago, it did not stop a group of Malaysians from flying the Jalur Gemilang atop Gunung Kerinci, the highest volcano in Indonesia.

The group took two days to complete the expedition ahead of National Day, which included waking up in the wee hours to hike up the smouldering peak.
